Every Time Rumors About The Kardashian Kids Were Debunked

Throughout the years, some rumors have circulated about the Kardashian kids. However, their parents — and sometimes the children themselves — have come to their defense.

In March 2025, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick’s son Reign shut down rumors claiming that his real dad is Justin Bieber. (Kourtney and Scott split in July 2015 and share Reign along with siblings Mason and Penelope. Kourtney reportedly had a brief fling with Bieber in late 2015.)

“No, he’s not,” Reign said during an Instagram Live posted by stepsister Alabama Barker’s boyfriend, Scooter Jackson. “Bro, I swear, Justin Bieber is not my dad. Scotty … Scotty … Scotty is my dad. I don’t know how old my mom was, but I think Justin Bieber was 16 when I got born. I don’t think my mom would do that.”

That same month, Kourtney slammed a conspiracy theory that her other son Mason has a child.

“I rarely address rumors or conspiracies regarding myself or my family, but this is about my child and it feels wrong to let anyone think for a second that these lies are remotely true,” she wrote via Instagram. “They are not true. Mason does not have a child.”

Kourtney Addresses Mason’s Alleged Social Media Accounts

In July 2022, some fake Instagram accounts were circulating pretending to be Mason and alleging that Kylie Jenner was going to marry Travis Scott. Kourtney was quick to jump to her son’s defense noting that he was not on social media at the time.

“After months and months of thinking you would all know that is NOT Mason on these fake accounts, some of you don’t,” she wrote via X. “So, I will spell it out clearly: that is NOT Mason on these fake social media accounts talking about our family.”

Following Stormi’s birth in February 2018, rumors started swirling that she was the daughter of Kylie’s bodyguard, Tim Chung — however, he quickly denied those theories. (Kylie shares daughter Stormi and son Aire with ex Travis.)

“I am a very private person and would normally never answer to gossip and stories that are so ridiculous that they are laughable,” Chung wrote in an Instagram statement in May 2018. “Out of deep respect for Kylie, Travis, their daughter together and their families, I would like to set the record straight that my interactions with Kylie and her family have been limited in strictly a professional capacity only. There is no story here and I ask that the media no longer include me in any narrative that is incredibly disrespectful to their family.”

Khloé Kardashian responded to a social media user who claimed that Chicago isn’t really Kim Kardashian’s daughter because she “would either look MORE like Kanye [West] or the surrogate mother.” (Kim and Kanye welcomed Chicago via surrogate in January 2018. They also share daughter North, and sons Saint and Psalm.)

“If you don’t really know about someone’s situation then maybe you should not comment,” Khloé wrote in December 2018. “Try informing yourself first before you make such silly statements doll. Your passive wanna be petty comment is simply uneducated. Chicago is completely Kimberly’s biological child. Praise the lord she was able to have a surrogate and that we are blessed with sweet gorgeous Chi Chi.”

Kim Responds to Claim That North Copied ZaZa’s Yeezy Performance

After North delivered a surprise performance at Kanye’s Yeezy Season 8 show during Paris Fashion Week in March 2020, viral star ZaZa’s parents pointed out similarities between North’s song and their daughter’s hit “What I Do?”

“We take PRIDE in creativity, and believe whether a child’s involved or an adult…creativity deserves RESPECT/homage!” ZaZa’s parents wrote on her Instagram account at the time. “What @kimkardashian (Kanye West) are doing with their daughter…with the inspiration of ZaZa & our family in mind is OK… we not mad BUT PLS SHOW LOVE AND SUPPORT TO THE ORIGINAL FIRST!!! We admire Kanye West, and adore his journey. However, we don’t wanna feel like our daughter’s journey in the world of entertainment is being STIFLED. THANK YOU!”

Kim took to the comments section of the post to defend her daughter — while giving credit to ZaZa.

“We love you, North is a huge fan and records in the studio all the time with her dad and is inspired by ZaZa and loves Lay Lay too!” she explained. “Today’s performance of North’s remix of ZaZa’s song was something she asked to do at the last minute and a complete surprise. I didn’t mean to not give credit where credit was due. Would love for the girls to meet soon.”
